The Steppes dates back the 16th Century and has survived Civil War and many uprisings over the years.

The original building (our family lounge) was said to have been erected in 1530 when Henry VIII was King of England and England was torn by the Reformation.

Today however, it is a happy home for Lin and Martin. Lin is happy to show you around the private gardens, if you just ask.

The holiday cottages are located off road and there are many footpaths and open fields for keen walkers.
